We will discuss common misconceptions that non-citizens may hold about Colorado family law and their rights during a family law proceeding, and how practitioners can address these concerns in order to empower all participants in the family law system, regardless of immigration status or country of origin. Emily Smith has been serving Colorado’s immigrant community for over a decade.
