Not Ready To Divorce?

October 2, 2024 @ 12:00 PM - 1:15 PM

Please join us for our second program of our new membership year: Not Ready To Divorce? Marriage Therapy, Marital Agreements and Other Strategies. This program has been approved for 1 CLE/CE credit.

Program will discuss legal and therapeutic alternatives to divorce when parties are experiencing relationship turmoil and/or marital crisis, yet are not clear about ending their relationship, including impacts on family and children as well as finances. Program will also discuss options for limiting the scope of the disputed issues upon divorce or separation. Options addressed include co-habitation agreements for not-yet-married couples, premarital agreements, marital agreements, and legal separation, as well as initial steps of supporting children through parental relationship crisis, parenting time suggestions, and causing the least amount of damage and stress to a family during this time. Presentation will also cover practical guidance for advising clients who are in this position, and the important role of assisting the client in reaching their own informed decision.

Our talented panel for this topic includes:
